Collection Story
I traveled to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks with one purpose: to immerse myself completely in photography. For nine days, I planned each shoot, studied the terrain, and positioned myself where wildlife and landscape intersected. I arrived prepared, with the right lenses, the right gear, and the research done, but nothing could have prepared me for how deeply the experience would change my photography.
The beauty of these wild places is humbling. They are vast, alive, unpredictable, and quietly powerful. I found myself reluctant to leave, struck by the realization that places like this still exist, and by how different it feels to stand quietly within them rather than simply pass through.
Before that trip, wildlife photography had never been my focus. But somewhere between the long waits, unexpected encounters, and split seconds when an animal finally stepped into view, something shifted.
Wildlife demanded something different from me as a photographer.
Patience instead of control. Observation instead of direction. A willingness to wait for the moment rather than create it.
Wild Witness grew from that shift.
The collection has since expanded beyond that first journey, following me back into the American West and deeper into wildlife photography. It holds intimate encounters with bison, elk, moose, eagles, and other animals alongside the landscapes and open spaces that form the world around them.
Some moments are powerful. Others are remarkably quiet, a mother leaning toward her young, two animals sharing an exchange we can only interpret, or a solitary figure simply existing beneath an enormous sky.
Through all of them, my intention remains the same: to photograph the wild with patience, respect, and a sense of wonder.
Not to control it.
Simply to witness it.
